We decided to live permanently in Spain in 2002 having bought a holiday home here two years earlier. We have grown to love both the village and it's inhabitants and decided that for us, this was the right place to be. I had a Property Website in the UK, and previously also worked as Property Manager for a large firm of estate agents. I hope this has given me some understanding of exactly what clients expect when purchasing a new home. Whether you are seeking a holiday home or wish to live here permanently, our own purchases, together with those of our friends and clients have given me a wide experience of procedures involved when buying property here. My aim is to make your purchase as easy and stress-free as possible.
All property transactions made by clients of Trabuco Estates are conducted by a qualified Solicitor, and not just a property conveyancer. They will ensure that the property has up to date deeds (Escritura), is free from all charges and debts before you buy, and the vendor will have to sign the Escritura in front of the Notario at a local government office to confirm this. We are happy to recommend local English speaking Spanish solicitors if required.
If you purchase a property which requires building or reform of any kind, from patios to pools, I use a firm of local Spanish registered builders who provide an excellent service at reasonable rates. I would be most pleased to show you examples of their work and they also did all the alterations to my office and my own home.
